• Maintenance Free: These maintenance-free batteries are safe for you as the operator and for the environment because there is no lead, acid or explosive gasses that are released during charging or that can leak out due to vibration. They’re sealed, fully charged and ready to use straight from the factory.
• Extreme Rate LiFePO4 Cell Technology: LiFeP04 batteries are usually a fifth of the weight of the ordinary lead-acid batteries. With a low self-discharge rate, the batteries hold an unloaded charge that enables them to run for a year without the need for maintenance. Phantom batteries can also withstand the high load cranking requirement at the ignition cycle. They recover quickly due to their high acceptance rate, allowing them to accept a higher charging current, which gives the most rapid recharging. They also crank faster, enabling better starts. LiFeP04 batteries also can be more deeply discharged longer than lead-acid batteries of the same capacity.
• Zero Sulfation: Flooded batteries can suffer from sulfation, a process by which sulfated acid travels from one cell to the other, causing a short. Sulfation is the leading cause of faster discharge of the energy (a battery that “won’t hold a charge”) as well as terminal failure. By eliminating sulfation, Phantom LFP batteries can discharge more slowly and deeply.
• Solid Brass Terminals and Copper Soldered Connections: Solid brass terminals are free from corrosion,  while copper connections enhance the flow of electricity better than any other material.
• Military Spec Carbon Composite Case: Vibration is a problem for batteries, especially those used on fast powerboats, light sailboats, motorcycles and other performance vehicles. To deal with this problem, Phantom lithium batteries are made with rugged military spec carbon composite casing that withstands the abuse in the rough environments.
• Environmentally Friendly: Since the battery is maintenance-free and there is no lead or acid, the is no damage to the environment or yourself. You just discharge and recycle the battery at the end of its useful life.
