12'6" Carbon Fiber Team Race Stand-Up Paddleboard

The new 12'6" Lahui Kai Carbon Team Race board designed by Brian Szymanski and John Becker was built for the competitive racer looking for that extra edge. It's quick speed, great stability, excellent glide, and fast buoy turning gives the advanced paddler an advantage in all conditions. This board features Lahui Kai 3X Carbon Fiber Construction, CONNEXSUP modular accessorysystem, LIFTSUP easy carry handle and a rail mounted Aussie inspired race handle.

 

Hull 

 

The Carbon Team Race features a finely tuned displacement racing hull that cuts through water. This keeps the energy you exert flowing and minimizes the effort you have to put out while paddling...keeping you going for those long races. This hull is made using 3X Carbon Fiber construction so it can absorb bumps and bruises that you may encounter along the way. 

 

Deck

 

From tip to tail, the deck is fully loaded to meet any and all of your racing needs. Featuring a Gore-Tex vent plug, custom anti-fatigue EVA deck pad, and an easy to carry patented LIFTSUP handle that even gives the board a super strong place to run a cable lock through when left on your vehicle. An Australian racing handle on the side provides you with another method of grabbing your board for super fast beach starts. The CONNEXSUP modular gear plugs mounted throughout the board give you endless options for mounting your favorite accessories or stowing gear.

 

Volume

 

One of the most important and often overlooked specs of any paddleboard is the volume. The riders weight vs. the boards volume is the best way to fit a rider to the right board. The 12’6” Team Race features 245 litters of volume, allowing for a rider and his/her gear to total 215 lbs.  

 

Shape 

 

The finely tuned racing shape is the result of years of testing in the California shaping room of world class board shaper Brian Szymanski. His boards have produced more wins for top athletes than any other shaper in the world.  

 

Construction

 

The Lahui Kai Racing models all feature 3XCarbon construction. 2 layers of carbon fiber on the top and 1 layer on the bottom. All 3 layers overlap onto the rails creating an I-beam of carbon fiber. This gives the board unmatched structural integrity and keeps the board super light. All Lahui Kai Racing models have 1 lb EPS foam cores.
