Medium-Profile Hatches
Clean design and you can replace the lens yourself, unlike the Ocean Hatches.
Until now, replacing scratched or cracked lenses meant sending the lid to the manufacturer or paying a professional to repair it. Now Lewmar has created a two-piece frame with tough, gray acrylic that can be replaced simply by unscrewing the frame and inserting the new lens. The seal and acrylic are fitted into the aluminum frame to produce a stronger, more leak-proof hatch.
CE-certified aluminum frame has smooth, rounded edges, inset hinges and rounded corners for snag-resistance. All hatches feature a vent position, flange base and sizes 30 and larger have lockable internal and external handles for added security. CE Area II approved. All hatches have flange bases.
Medium-profile hatches have a deeper frame section and 12mm acrylic in all sizes. A good choice for installation on offshore boats.
