Product Overview

Durable, attractive and flexible; White Sta-Set is a versatile workhorse for just about any boat.

Strong and durable polyester double braid with a braided core and continuous filament braided cover. Cost-effective, long lasting. The mainstay of New England Ropes’ product line. A great balance of stretch, strength, suppleness, abrasion resistance and cost. Price per foot, available in lengths to full spool.

  • Construction: Double braid
  • Cover Fiber/Construction: Smooth braided polyester
  • Core Fiber/Construction: Braided polyester
  • Stretch: 2.80% at 20% of breaking strength
  • Hand/Feel: Flexible with a soft feel that is easy to handle
  • Spliceable: Yes, can be easily spliced using a double braid splice
  • Strippable: No, as the cover shares the work of carrying the load, so the uncoated core is not strong enough
  • Method of Terminating the Ends: Melt the end to seal the fibers
