Product Overview
Designed for use with lifebuoys, this light provides a 360° arc of visibility.
Uses no mercury for operation. When not in use, the weight of the batteries compresses the spring and shuts off the contact between wire and batteries' negative terminal. When the light is thrown into the water, it floats in vertical position immediately, thanks to its specific shape. The batteries slide down in the tube and, with their weight, create the contact with the wire connected to the bulb.
- Duration: Two hours
- Light intensity: Four candela
- Batteries: Four alkaline, D-size batteries (sold separately)
- Visibility: 360° arc of visibility
- Height: Floats with the lens 3 7/8" above waterline
