            I needed a strong, quick release shackel to shorten the safety chain to hold my 20' walkaround in the bow roller on my trailer after adding an electric winch. The snap shackel enables me to get a tight fit that goes on and off quickly at the ramp yet has the strength needed to hold my boat. Although I only started using it, I have another one that I use to secure a safety cable across an opening in my bow rail. I pop the snap when deploying a bow-mounted electric trolling motor. I've used it for 3 seasons in saltwater environment and it has performed as designed and held up well.
