18-5834 Solenoid

Rugged starter-mounted solenoids designed for the rigors of the marine environment.

Designed to resist saltwater and corrosion, these starter-mounted solenoids meet or exceed original equipment quality. They replace a number of GM and Ford solenoids on MerCruiser and OMC engines.

Replaces the following Part Numbers:

• 18-5837 Delco Metric Solenoid. Fits all GM starters since 1986 except permanent magnet. Fits all Sierra rebuilt and new starters and replaces Mercury P/N 33261, 89-99253 and 89-18080
• 18-5838 Delco Old Style English Solenoid. Fits GM starters up to 1986. Replaces Mercury P/N 89902, 33261
• 18-6287. Solenoid for GM style permanent magnet starters
• 18-5802. Ford starter solenoid. Also fits Mercury built four-cylinder 470-series engines. Replaces Mercury P/N 65057T1, 650571A1
• 18-5836 Ford starter solenoid. Also replaces Mercury P/N 25661T1, 256611
• 18-6291 Ford solenoid for gear-reduction starters on late model 5.0L, 5.8L. Replaces OMC P/N 3854194, Volvo P/N 3854194-2.
