Women's Harbor Cruise Sneaker
Any resemblance to ordinary athletic shoes by these boat shoes is purely coincidental.
You'll find their performance speaks for itself.
If you weren't paying attention, the functionality of Sperry's Harbor Cruise Boat Shoes might slip by you (like typical athletic shoes would). However, give us a minute to explain in more depth below and you'll quickly see just how remarkable these shoes really are. If your lifestyle involves being in, on or around the water, you owe it to yourself to read what they can do for you. Imported.
The Look: Athletically inspired, these shoes provide lateral support for the side-to-side movements and shifts in weight you'll be using on deck.
The Uppers: Hydrophobic synthetic uppers and linings give the Harbor Cruise Boat Shoes the ability to shed water like a labrador retriever (without having to shake violently). These materials, plus strategically placed drainage ports ensure they won't hold water and dry quickly so you'll never be wearing soggy, clammy, heavy shoes. The uppers are also breathable to keep your feet cooler when the temperature or your activity level increases.
Padded Tongues: This might seem like an insignificant feature...until you snug your shoes up really tight so they stay on when the going gets wet! No one wants insteps that feel like they've been in a vice all day. The right amount of padding in the right place means these shoes will feel just as comfortable at the end of the day as when you first put them on.
The Insoles: Full-length, compression-molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) insoles are included that will mold to the shape of your feet after only a few wearings for a cushioned fit that feels like they were made just for you. The insoles are removable so you can take them out and let your shoes completely dry before your next boating adventure or so you can add your own custom orthotics.
The Midsoles: Sperry also uses molded EVA midsoles for cushioning. By virtue of the fact that they run the length of the shoes, these cushioned midsoles provide all-day, under-foot shock absorption whether you're sailing, fishing or just on a relaxing cruise.
The Outsoles: Any boat shoes worth their salt have to have soles that keep you firmly in contact with wet gelcoat (what boat decks are typically covered in). Harbor Cruise Boat Shoes not only feature slip-resistant rubber soles, they're also non-marking. Not only will you find it easier to stay on deck, you also won't be leaving ugly black streaks on the white gelcoat.
