An adjustable length makes it perfect for families or having as a spare when you have guests of different heights or several kayaks in your fleet. Drip rings are included to prevent water from running off the paddle and entering your kayak (particularly important for sit-in kayak use).

Choosing a paddle length
When considering paddle length, a good rule to follow is to choose a paddle that's 30cm or roughly a foot taller than you when holding it upright. Also, make sure to take into account the width of your kayak in addition to your height. The greater the kayak width, the more paddle length is needed to reach the water. If you have a sit-on-top kayak and your seat is raised six or more inches above the base, add about three inches to your paddle length.
