Don't trust your survival in extreme marine environments to just any boots.
Xtratuf's Legacy Boots are not your typical waterproof boots. These are the tried and true boots that have been worn by Alaskan fishermen for over 50 years. Essential gear for some of the world's toughest conditions. Imported.
The Fit: The Women's Legacy Boots are designed on a women's last (a foot-shaped form used to manufacture footwear). Sure you can always buy men's boots two sizes smaller, but unless you have wide feet they aren't going to fit nearly as well as a pair made specifically from a women's last. And trust us, fitting better translates into feeling better after a day on your feet.
The Uppers: The chemical-resistant, triple dipped latex neoprene rubber these boots are made from is not only 100% waterproof, it'll outlast standard rubber boots in solvents, caustics, hydrocarbons, fats and acids. They've been tested to withstand organic and inorganic acids and chemicals so you can stand strong in whatever you get yourself into.
The Linings: Updated prints bring a splash of color for extra flair to your Legacy Boots when you roll the uppers down. They also make them easier to pick out when you're grabbing your boots from a shared onboard locker.
The Insoles: Removable insoles like these might not seem like a big deal. That is until you pull them out after a day on the water, wash them, let them dry and then slip them back inside refreshed for the next trip.
The Outsoles: Slip-resistant, non-marking Chevron outsoles made from a proprietary rubber compound give you sure footing on wet, slick surfaces without leaving marks or scuffs.
