Lake Troll Downrigger
A great way to discover the effectiveness of controlled depth fishing.
Controlled depth fishing using a downrigger isn’t just for large sportfishing vessels or going after saltwater species. Downriggers can be added to any angler’s arsenal to effectively target fish in a specific water column with devastating effects—for the fish at least. The Cannon Lake-Troll™ manual downrigger is for anglers with smaller boats who want to explore controlled depth fishing without a huge investment.
Deploy line with one hand with a simple to use clutch. The included stainless steel cable dispatches easily without jamming or tangles through an enclosed pulley.
Cover more water by adjusting trolling spread. Adjust the distance between the downrigger line and the line from your rod using the single axis rod holder. The separation increases your target area and helps to avoid line entanglements.
Retrieve line quickly to prevent entanglement. The ergonomic 1:1 crank quickly retrieves the downrigger line to prevent line entanglements and possibly breaking off a fish. An integrated ball hook stores the downrigger cable when not in use.
Explore a new approach to fishing inland lakes and rivers by adding an effective weapon to your boat. A Cannon Lake-Troll™ downrigger will let you comfortable test the waters of controlled depth fishing.

Very disappointed
I bought this brand new and it would not lower the cannonball I tried everything I even tried calling Cannon they couldn't help me out it was out of warranty I bought over a year ago and never used it it just sat. I am very disappointed
never used it and clutch doesn't work,
took out of box, put together, then find out that the clutch does work as said, called cannon and now I have to take it 70 miles one way to be fixed for free, will not be buying any more cannon products
great value

For use in under 100' conditions this product works well. Strong, simple and easy. Does everything a downrigger should do in a basic package. Well worth the price. A new world of fishing potential is available to the angler with downrigging. Just came back from catching my first Macinaws trolling at 90' depth.
