You'll find these Contura Rocker Switches from Cole Hersee are suitable for all kinds of general-purpose applications. Weather-resistant with contact areas sealed to IP66 waterproof rating (high pressure wash-resistant) and recognized at UL 1500 (ignition protection for marine products) for use on boat decks. Models with an LED light indicate when the circuit is on.* Several configurations are available for almost any application. Includes both black and gray covers. Both switches and covers are interchangeable with similar switches used as original equipment on many common boat types.
These sealed rocker switches feature a plastic housing, bezel and actuator with silver contacts, brass blade terminals and a neoprene gasket/panel seal. They conveniently snap into a standard rectangular mounting hole of 1 1/2" x 13/16" (36.83mm x 21.08mm) in panels from 0.09" to 0.19" thick (2.4mm to 4.7mm). Rated at 15A@24V DC (20A@12V DC).
*NOTE: LED indicator lights on those models that have them (see table below) are rated for 24 volts and will only operate at that specified voltage. The switch will operate at 12 volts, but the light will not.
