An inflatable kayak with the performance of a rigid shell!

Lightweight, easy to store and a cinch to transport, our Scout Advanced Frame Inflatable Sit-Inside Kayak makes a great choice if you've never owned a kayak before! That's not to say more experienced paddlers won't appreciate its advantages as well. It's pretty easy to understand the convenience of having a 10'5" long kayak that is only 30" x 17" x 10" when folded and weighs only 32 pounds. After all, you don't need a roof rack or a truck to get it to the water. But what about performance? That's where our kayak becomes a game-changer. With an aluminum-reinforced bow that slices through the water like a knife and an aluminum-framed stern with a tracking fin that acts as a skeg, it won't wallow around like an oversized pool toy. This kayak not only tracks straight in flat water, it'll also cut through the waves like a rigid shell.

Easy To Set Up

Our Scout Advanced Frame Kayak comes completely pre-assembled with integral bow and stern framing and an inflatable floor. To set it up you simply unfold it, inflate it, attach the seat and start paddling. It deflates and folds back up for storage just as easily. A foot pump is included.

Hull Design

Made from three-layer, heavy-duty PVC tarpaulin with RF welded seams for durability, our kayak features built-in aluminum frames that define the bow and stern and improve tracking. Abrasion pads are added in high use areas for years of trouble-free paddling.

Cockpit

A supportive, high-back, adjustable padded seat is included. There's generous storage behind the seat and the inflatable floor provides insulation from the water's cold.

Deck

The forward deck lacing is a great place to stash items you need access to quickly. You'll also find comfortable carrying handles at the bow and stern to make those unplanned portages easier (although some people just invert the kayak on top of their head and wear it like a hat to carry it).

If you don't already own them or it's time to replace the ones you have, remember to order a kayak paddle and a life jacket (both sold separately) so you'll be ready to splash your kayak as soon as possible!
