Buffalo is a historical harbor town in western New York that sits at the beginning of the Niagara River at the eastern end of Lake Erie. West Marine Buffalo is a full-service marine supply store on the Niagara River and we offer a courtesy dock to tie up on while you shop. Our store is minutes away from the Tonawandas, Grand Island and the City of Niagara Falls and has everything boaters need for a fun day on the water.

Boating

Buffalo was the largest grain port in the world and a cruise on the Buffalo River showcases some of the large grain elevators that still exist today. Boaters in the area trust West Marine to help keep their watercraft in good condition with our selection of boat parts, maintenance products, cleaning supplies and boat accessories. We also have everything boaters need to winterize their boats including antifreeze and shrink wrap.

Sailing

Lake Erie is a popular sailing spot for racers and cruisers. Buffalo is also on the Great Loop, a 6,000-mile passage through protected inland waters that circumnavigates the eastern U.S. Long-distance cruisers can call ahead and arrange to pick up their boating supplies at our courtesy dock. We specialize in sailing gear and rigging.

Fishing

Anglers are attracted to the area because Lake Erie is home to some of the best walleye fishing in the country. Nearby Lake Ontario is also known for great salmon and trout fishing. Our in-house fishing experts can guide anglers on the best fishing gear and fishing supplies.

Paddling and Kayaking
