Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

Had on my 34' sailboat in Miami. We have salt water, rain, humidity. Electrical circuits, in order to function need to be kept dry. The deck light is open to all of the 'wet' conditions described without any watertight seal. SURPRISE...it no longer works after 9 months up the mast.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

A good idea hampered by lousy design. In addition to what other reviewers have said, when flaps are bent to mount it, the flat surface to which the steaming lens seals becomes curved. No more seal. I used clear silicone to make the seal. Not cool.
To put lights on separate circuits, you just remove a jumper wire.
Finally, it looks like there may be a new version on the market that is silver colored. Hope remains that it is improved.
    For now, it is over-priced.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

maybe you want the spreader - foredeck lights on when you turn on your mast-steaming light? But if you don't, this isn't the light, because unless I got a deffective part, it's only one circuit. BUT WM DID let me return it, even though I attempted to re-wire it so only the masthead lamp would work, maybe one day they'll provide a two circuit fixture? it's a great idea.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

The halogen light has no cover on it. It is out in the weather bare bulb. I am replacing the Halogen light and socket with another 3rd party LED Spotlight that is water proof, draws less power and gives equivalent light. This cost me another $26 and a jury rig of this light fixture to get what I wanted.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

The mounting "wings" are molded to the light body with a thin flexible "hinge". One wrapped wire halyard ripped right through the "hinge" and severed the wiring. Now using a stainless steel mounting strap with the light bolted to it.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

I replaced my old steaming light on the mast with this combo light. The enclosed upper light has continued to function for years now. The deck light is another story. It has a bulb that is exposed with no lens, which shortens the life of the bulb. With no lens to enhance its beam, it also provides inadequate light. It may draw less juice that the old incandescent sealed beam deck lights, but performance is disappointing.

Comments about Series 25 Combo Deck and Masthead Navigation Light:

Would have expected a much higher quality of product at this price. No attempt to make this weather resistant - any water running down the mast will run straight into the unit and over the connections. (no waterproof seal - in fact no seal at all)

Decklight has no cover - open bulb socket in an external marine environment - I'll give it 6 months max
