Product Description

Great value in advanced high-performance yet affordable marine electronics comes together in the Mark-4, with easy-to-use menus and fast installation. The high-brightness, sunlight-viewable, grayscale display is packed with all the features you could want. The Mark-4 includes impressive detail on the 3.5" screen that virtually expands to four times its size with the integrated TrackBack™ feature. TrackBack gives you greater control of your time on the water. Simply move the cursor back through sonar-display history, quickly identify baitfish, game-fish or structure and save a waypoint. Includes a low-profile, high-speed, transom-mount, 83/200kHz Skimmer® transducer with built-in temp sensor, and trolling motor-mount bracket option.

The Mark-4 is easy to install with a quick-release mounting system featuring tilt and swivel bracket for plug-and-play use. It can also be flush-mounted using the accessory mounting-kit option. For fast and smooth one-hand operation, the Mark-4 design includes easy-to-use page and menu controls. The simplified menus makes it easy to learn and use right out of the box. Comes preloaded with Nautic Insight U.S. coastal charts (a West Marine exclusive) and is compatible with Fishing Hotspots® Pro, Navionics® Gold and Premium charting upgrades through the built-in, waterproof microSD card slot.

Comments about Mark 4 Chartplotter / Fishfinder with Nautic Insight Cartography and 83/200 Transducer:

I installed mine a year ago and love it. The bright high contrast screen makes it usable in bright sunshine or at night while it's mounted behind a smoked plexiglass console cover. The menus are intuitive making operation a breeze when under way.

Comments about Mark 4 Chartplotter / Fishfinder with Nautic Insight Cartography and 83/200 Transducer:

Luckily, I tried out the chartplotting functions before installation! The cartography is riddled with errors. When I returned it, the West sales person called a Lowrance rep who I spoke to. The rep professed ignorance as to any problems and seemed very unconcerned about the errors.
