Comments about Dockside 30A to 15A Adapter with Ground Fault Protection:

Ground fault interrupters are a great idea. They can save your life. But this one has a bad behavior - one that's not noted on the web site. If power is interrupted for even a fraction of a second, the GFI trips. The box the item came in calls that a "feature", but it serves no useful purpose. So if you intend to connect your battery charger to this adapter, your shore power better never so much as flicker, because you'll find the GFI tripped and shut off the power in your boat. Mine lasted just 4 hours before the marina's power flickered and I had to drive 40 miles to push the "reset" button. You wouldn't tolerate that behavior in a GFI outlet in your home, I don't know how anyone should tolerate it on the much less reliable power at a marina.

Comments about Dockside 30A to 15A Adapter with Ground Fault Protection:

I have two young grand sons that like to help do things at the boat when it's docked. Whether it's listening to the radio or using the vacuum to help clean, this device offers mind easing safety when they're using any electrical device.
