Comments about Torqeedo Ultralight 403 Kayak and Light Boat Motor:
Great electric motor for a kayaks or small boats. I have Hobie Bravo (12' catamaran sailboat) that weighs 200lb and an overall weight of 600lb with two adults. Depending on conditions, I can achieve a speed of about 3.5 mph. The motor will display the current speed in mph or knots and also give you an estimate of the range left on the battery given your current speed. Although expensive, it is of great quality and well-built (made in Germany) and very lightweight which is a plus if you have a small kayak, boat, or sailboat. Overall, this is a great motor that is powerful and lightweight.
