Child's Safety Harness

In stock online.
Model # 270820 | Mfg # WMSH-STD-C

Product Description

We've made these childrens' harnesses more appropriate for little boaters by reducing the hardware and webbing size so they weigh only ounces, yet withstand a 1,000lb. pull on the chest strap. We use strong, 1"W nylon webbing and a rugged, nylon Nexus, side-buckle/adjuster. The harness is worn tether forward and ties into a simple webbing loop to further reduce weight. A cross-back strap keeps the shoulder straps in place. Use with or without the between-the-legs strap, which stabilizes the harness against upward pulls. Tether sold separately.

Comments about West Marine Child's Safety Harness:

I used these when sailing with just me and the kids. I gives me added security knowing the my kids can go up on the bow in choppy weather and I can stay at the helm without worrying about them falling off.
Kids don't find them uncomfortable which is a big plus.
