Ramin Mozafari

Ramin joined the West Marine crew in August 2021 with more than 30 years of prior experience in the retail industry focused on planning/allocation, merchandising and store operations. He measures success by anticipating and breaking down barriers, empowering team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve win-win results.

He started his career at Macy's in store management and later joined corporate, rotating in several planning, allocation and buying management responsibilities and managing a variety of businesses including home products, women's & men's apparel, accessories and footwear. He later joined DSW Inc. as General Merchandise Manager leading several initiatives including the launch of accessories and key growth initiatives in men's and athletic footwear. Other leadership roles include senior planning and merchandising positions with Kohl's department stores, Pier 1 Imports and Stage Stores.

When Ramin is not at work, he is spending quality with family, biking and traveling. One of his long-term goals is to travel around the world in a catamaran.

Ramin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of Miami.
