Inlet Control Valve (ICV)
Part of a complete fuel system to prevent unwanted spills.
Fuel systems have evolved to reduce fuel vapor emissions and accidental spills. This inlet control valve (ICV) is a component of these new systems and allows the proper fuel fill rate and works with a fill limit valve to trigger automatic shut-off nozzles and eliminate splash back at the deckfill. The valve body can be installed in a 0°—90° orientation along the 1 1/2" fill hose and is compatible with ethanol blended fuels. For installations outside of the engine room. An ICV will also limit fuel from the tank from traveling into the fill hose during rough seas or while trailering.
