From a day trip exploring a secluded bayou filled with cypress stumps and alligators to knocking off the more than 1,500 miles of routes making up the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, this is the SUP to get you there and back with one more checkmark on your bucket list. A load capacity of 375 pounds, including you and everything your journey requires, means the Traveller is a work horse yearning for long-distance touring. With its stable reputation, even novice paddlers will quickly feel comfortable heeding the call of the open water.

Hull

Inspired by medieval suits of armor, BOTE developed a chainmail weave pattern that adds the strength and durability of Innegra (a polymer fiber) into the construction of the board to make it strong, light and fast. An expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam core with rounded rails and extra volume in the tail and nose makes this board efficient to paddle and oh-so stable. At 6" deep, this hull will not only cruise effortlessly through the water, it will hold all your gear, too!

Deck

The flat, recessed deck makes a sturdy platform for everything from easy to aggressive paddling with the features you need for day-tripping and overnight camping. 

Built-In Features

Starting at the bow, you'll first notice the Paddle Sheath™ that allows you to insert the blade end of your paddle into the slot, conveniently holding your paddle upright and within reach to free up your hands for other tasks or just to take a break.

Next, there's an integrated bungee strapping system that keeps your dry bag (sold separately) and other essentials on your board and above the water.

As you make your way onto the recessed deck you'll find it covered with a texture that is heat embossed onto the surface of the foam, not only providing incredible grip and comfort, but eliminating water absorption, making the board lighter and faster than traditional deck pads.

Next up is a feature you'll wonder how you ever did without—the Stashpod. Watertight storage, an integrated bottle opener and a place to keep your favorite beverage from tipping over makes the Stashpod a popular amenity.

Cooler tiedowns are installed that feature a swivel action to allow the strap angle to adjust for optimum pressure distribution (you don't want your Yeti [sold separately] floating off full of your favorite beverages).

You'll find the centrally located grab handle has been designed to ensure your fingers won't go numb and you'll have plenty of leverage to carry your board to the water.

Integrated latch points in the rail of the board are part of BOTE's patent pending Travelink™ Carry System. By simply clicking in the Travelink™ Sling(sold separately) to the latch points, you can remove all weight from your hands and carry the board more safely and ergonomically with your shoulders and back. The best part is it's permanently flush mounted into the rails—when you aren’t using it, you won't notice it. There is zero effect on the paddling dynamics. The Travelink latch points can also be used to lock and secure your board.

Another bungee tiedown is found at the rear deck pad for yet more storage options and finally the all-important leash attachment point so you won't be separated from your Traveller for long.

Underneath is an included stabilizer fin that helps your board track straight on flatwater excursions.

Volume

The displacement V-hull, 28" wide beam, 6" depth and added volume in the nose and tail of the Traveller is designed for excellent capacity and stability. Rated at 375 pounds, this board will carry all you need for an extended adventure across the water!

Shape

The touring shape and length of this board provides the lighter weight (only 34 pounds unladen) and narrower beam you need for fast crusing and touring.
