Centek Marine Vernatube Shaft Log Tubes
Centek Marine shaft logs use the same basic filament winding process for Vernatube exhaust tubing. By winding additional layers of resin-impregnated, continuous fiberglass strands in a predetermined pattern, wall thickness and strength are dramatically increased. This results in strength to weight ratios greater than conventional metal structures. Standard procedures for joining components of an FRP structure can be used for attaching the tubes to, or within, other FRP structures. Held to extremely close tolerance due to mandrel winding. Shaft Logs have the Lloyd’s Register Type Approval.
