At the heart of the K-Feather is a stealthy in-tube 24V 5Ah Samsung lithium battery — 120Wh capacity, IPX5 waterproof rated, and certified to the EN15194 safety standard. The battery is hidden within the main beam, giving the bike the clean appearance of a conventional bicycle while providing constant pedal assistance for up to 40 km of range per charge. A single button activates the e-assist system, and power automatically adjusts based on riding conditions — shutting off on descents and engaging on climbs.

Power comes from a lightweight 24V 250W rear hub motor delivering up to 32 N·m of torque, paired with a highly sensitive torque sensor that responds within 0.01 seconds. The single-speed drivetrain — featuring a Prowheel PRO53A 53T chainring and DAHON LY13T8QN cassette — works in harmony with the intelligent pedal assist to deliver smooth, efficient power on every ride. The frame benefits from two proprietary DAHON technologies. DELTECH is a patented diagonal support cable that increases frame rigidity by 15%, reduces stress, improves power transfer, and boosts speed by 5–10% compared to standard frames. A Super Down Tube — flattened at the junction of the center line and downtube — further increases longitudinal rigidity and stability, especially important at higher speeds or on uneven surfaces.

Componentry is purpose-built for urban riding: a 6061 aluminum flat handlebar (560 mm wide) with integrated headlight, DAHON forged handlepost, DAHON Ergo Comfort saddle and grips, a Dahon JB-SP-321JC seatpost (∅33.9×580mm), DAHON custom V-brakes (WB-985DK aluminum, 110mm), Winzip WL-218D brake levers, and Wellgo R200DU pedals.
