The Danik Hook Shore Spike is a great way to secure your watercraft on or near the shore!
It can be used in soft or hard packed sand on the shore or in shallow water. Simply use the top handle portion of the Shore Spike to hammer/drive the lower angle iron part of the spike in to the ground. Then tie off, or secure with a Danik Hook, your watercraft to the lower D ring. To remove the spike from the ground, simply reverse the process by using the handle to drive the spike upward, out of the ground. The upper D-ring at the top of the handle is only to be used for securing a buoy for marking purposes when the Danik Hook Shore Spike is being used under the water line.
