The Bussmann series is a flush mount high-amp circuit breaker designed specifically for marine applications. Part of the comprehensive Bussmann series of circuit protection solutions. It provides both short-circuit and overload protection to safeguard against damage to electrical circuit, including the engine room of gasoline powered boats.
This high-quality circuit breaker is known for its reliable performance in harsh marine environments, ensuring the safety and operational integrity of electrical systems on board. It is weatherproof, includes a push-to-trip button, features M6 threaded studs and stainless steel hardware.
The CB285F-100 marine rated circuit breaker is a Type III (type 3) breaker which means it will remain tripped (in the OFF position) until the user manually resets it.
