Made from a rugged nylon fabric, coated on both sides with a neoprene/nitrile compound that is chemical and odor resistant. Heavily lapped seams are inside-reinforced with a “doubler” to provide extra strength. Plus, they are vulcanized to assure leakproof panels and seams for years of trouble-free service. Covered by a one-year warranty.
Because of their flexibility, these tanks can fit into almost any space, especially those odd-shaped places that would otherwise be wasted. And since the tanks will collapse as the fuel is consumed, there is far less air in the tank to cause condensation and contamination. This also minimizes free-surfacing action (turbulence in the airspace above liquid) which dramatically reduces sloshing and its noise. When all the fuel has been drawn off, simply roll up the tank and stow.
Nauta Portable Outboard Gas Tanks are very easy to work with. Their construction allows for custom placement of fittings to suit your particular requirements and make it simple to install them. Easier to maintain than rigid tanks, flexible tanks can be removed for cleaning, inspection or repair without structural work. They will not corrode and are impervious to saltwater and other liquids they might encounter in the marine environment.
