AquatiClear™ by Kasco reimagines the traditional water circulator, delivering continuous, maintenance-free water movement that keeps docks, marinas, canals, shorelines, and swim areas free of algae, floating debris, and foul odors. Unlike conventional circulators that require frequent clearing, AquatiClear's patented Clean Current Technology™ uses a crown-like composite prop guard with smooth, independent, rounded tines that let weeds, algae, and debris slide harmlessly past the unit instead of wrapping around the motor shaft or prop. The result is a circulator that runs continuously, season after season, with virtually no upkeep.

As the largest model in the Kasco range, the 1 HP AquatiClear is built for the most challenging and demanding waterfront applications, covering an approximate 120-foot diameter area — the widest coverage in the AquatiClear lineup. Despite its size, the unit can operate in water as shallow as 30 inches while remaining effective at creating water movement to depths of 18 feet, giving it the versatility to handle both compact docks and sprawling marina frontages. Running at 120V, it generates 41 lbs. of thrust through a submersed, horizontally-mounted motor with an open propeller design (a 240V configuration is also available, along with a higher-thrust 51-lb. variant for especially demanding installations).

Beyond keeping debris at bay, the AquatiClear's constant circulation delivers meaningful water quality benefits year-round. Moving water mixes and agitates the pond or lake, spreading oxygenated water throughout, eliminating stagnant areas, and breaking up thermal and chemical stratification — the layering that occurs when warm surface water sits atop colder water below. That circulation adds vital oxygen for fish and aquatic life, reduces the standing warm water where mosquitoes breed, and helps keep water moving in winter to protect against ice damage and fish winterkill.

Built for the elements, the unit features a heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant motor suitable for both freshwater and saltwater environments. A sacrificial zinc anode provides corrosion protection for saltwater applications, and exposed metal components are constructed from Series 300 austenitic stainless steel. Kasco backs the AquatiClear with a two-year warranty, and its high-efficiency design keeps power consumption and operating costs low relative to competing circulators of similar output. 

Installation is flexible: mount it to a dock, piling, or other structure using the Universal Mount Kit, which includes a Simple Swivel bracket for easy directional adjustment of water flow — the dock-mounted version should sit at least 3 feet below the water's surface, with 6–12 inches of clearance from the bottom. Note that the mounting pole itself does not ship with the unit due to shipping weight restrictions; a galvanized or stainless steel Schedule 40 pipe (1" inside diameter, 1 5/16" outside diameter, no longer than 10 feet) can be sourced separately from any hardware store. Alternatively, the Horizontal Float Kit secures the unit with mooring ropes and float, hanging it roughly 2 feet below the surface — a configuration that also blocks the vortex effect otherwise created by dock mounting.
