However, taken out of it's park element and faced with a boat wake, the soft flex pattern stores energy, explodes off the wake, and it's flex dissipates energy upon landing, allowing less abuse on your body and longer sets. Sure, a beginner will be able to turn laps on the board, but the S.O.B. was designed for maximum performance under advanced and pro riders as well. The subtle contouring along the rails helps hold an edge upon approach, and the tip and tail channels help the rider effortlessly lock into nose and tail presses. The Plan B from O'Brien shares the same technology and canted lux chassis as the GTX, but with an open toe design to fit a wider range of foot sizes. 3 removable, reversible Velcro straps for the perfect fit and maximum customization. The Plan B has a strobel lasted liner and CMEVA outsole. The chassis is canted 2.5 degrees inward generating a more natural alignment and leg position when riding which offers more support to the outside of the foot, provides improved control, and reduces stress and fatigue on your ankles and knees for a longer, more comfortable ride. Features an off axis rotation system provides equal heel and toe leverage while achieving perfect alignment. The power arch provides more support during normal riding conditions and minimizes the amount your foot rolls inward on hard landings, reducing the stress on your knees.
