Use Cannon Ball Sinkers to quickly drop your lure directly below your rod.
Cannon Ball sinkers will bring your rig straight to the bottom. When attached to the mainline using a slider, they nearly eliminate the chance your catch will throw a hook with too much movement. This setup is especially useful when mooching for Salmon or Steelhead. Cannon balls are great for anchoring rigs and have diverse applications for water with a current.
