Unruly “sluggers” are brought to heel by the time-tested HT-100 drag system providing a smooth drag that remains consistent under heavy loads. Retrieves are made easy by the smooth ball-bearing design. The bearings are closed so salt water won’t get inside, offering a longer life for your reel.
Battle II reels also boast Penn’s machined and anodized Superline Spool™. You can load this spool with traditional monofilament, or for greater capacity and breaking strength, with one of the new superlines, which can be loaded without backing due to the spool’s rubber gasket that prevents slip.
