Trinidad Pro Antifouling Bottom Paint
One of the strongest antifouling paints available.
A top choice among professional applicators, TrinidadPro produces a hard, durable finish that provides long-lasting, multi-season protection against all types of marine fouling—even in high-fouling tropical waters.
High copper loading coupled with slime release technology and PTFE are what give this paint its effectiveness against barnacles, algae, slime and other marine organisms.
Now enhanced with 20% more copper, TrinidadPro remains one of the longest lasting, most effective antifouling paints available.
TrinidadPro is compatible with nearly all properly prepared hard bottom paints and is a good choice for fiberglass, wood and steel hulls. Trinidad pro should not be applied on aluminum hulls.
This antifouling paint formulation does not contain Irgarol, which due to a worldwide shortage is not available as an ingredient. However, the manufacturer has formulated this product to provide similar protection.

Another way to determine bottom paint quantity is to estimate the approximate surface area of the hull below the waterline, using the following formula
Length x Beam x .75 = Approximate underwater surface area in square feet.
For detailed application instructions and to view available colors, see the Trinidad Pro Data Sheet. NOTE: Manufacturer data sheets are subject to revision. Linked data sheets are believed to be accurate at the time of publication.
Each paint has a “theoretical coverage” area, but most paints require at least two coats, so you can expect actual coverage to be no greater than half of the theoretical value.
