Tallus Blue Water Rods feature Fuji aluminum oxide guides and EVA foam grips offering superior comfort and durability. With Shimano’s innovative designs features, the Tallus Rod provides optimal responsive action.

TC4 Construction

Engineered with a high carbon butt section fused together with a TC4 tip, this new blank design from Shimano gives you less weight with increased sensitivity. Its fast recovery rate and optimal response allow you to subdue fish quickly. TC4 construction wraps a double layered core of dynamic fibers with an inner and outer spiral of high modulus graphite providing excellent strength and durability. This gives the blank the flexibility of a fiberglass rod with the sensitivity and thinness of a graphite rod.

Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides

The Tallus Blue Water rod comes equipped with Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides. Diamond polished for an ultra-smooth finish, these guides provide long lasting durability and decreased line wear for better corrosion resistance and heat dissipation.

Shimano Custom Reel Seat

Formed to precisely fit each rod, these reel seats are built with hard plastic with aluminum chrome hoods. This lightweight reel seat offers brute strength and won’t pop off while battling fish on the line.

EVA Grip Handles

Comfortable EVA foam rubber grips add comfort while providing a great hold even when wet.
