A failing camshaft sensor can cause the idle to fluctuate and the engine to lose power and efficiency. In the most severe situations when the sensor fails, it can prevent ignition (spark) and make the boat inoperable. If your troubleshooting efforts have led you to a failed camshaft sensor, Sierra has the replacement. This sensor is engineered to meet original Volvo Penta specifications and is compatible with many Big Block V8 applications manufactured between 199—2004.
