The Suzuki DF20A is the result of a ground-up redesign focused on shedding every unnecessary gram without sacrificing structural integrity. Even in power tilt configuration, the DF20A remains the lightest four-stroke outboard in its 14.7kW (20HP) class — giving boaters more power-to-weight advantage for tenders, small skiffs, sailboats, and portable applications.

Beyond its class-leading weight, the DF20A is one of the most technologically advanced portable outboards on the market. It's the first 20HP outboard to combine Suzuki's proven Lean Burn Control System with Battery-Less Electronic Fuel Injection — delivering easier starts, smoother acceleration, quieter operation, and superior fuel economy without the added weight, cost, or maintenance of a battery-dependent EFI system.
