For the uninitiated, connecting your trailer’s electrical plug to your vehicle’s electrical system can be a problem when the respective connectors don’t match. Fortunately, West Marine offers a wide variety of trailer wire socket and plug adapters (sometimes called trailer hitch electrical adapters), connectors and extensions to make this job easy. So for example, if your trailer’s electrical plug happens to be a four pole round and you need to connect to a four pole flat there is an adapter for that.
