Created by avid anglers to conserve their fisheries by easily and safely relieving the depth-regulating pressure trapped in their catch’s internal swim bladder as it is brought to the surface. This pressure, if not relieved quickly, prevents the fish from returning to the depths from which it came, leading to rapid death from internal pressure or surface predators. Front-mounted vents on both sides of tool ensure rapid pressure relief and that airflow is unobstructed by your hand. UV-stabilized plastic body’s angled front end ensures the needle penetrates at the state and federally required 45° angle behind the pectoral fin. Clear polycarbonate cap prevents the external plunger assembly from being inadvertently pressed, eliminating accidental engagement. Cap includes a molded clip that provides safe and secure transport on your person without the need for a holster.
