Drinking Water-Safe Hoses
Garden hose style models include NeverKink® Drinking Water Safe Hoses from Tecnor Apex. They are made of lead- and Phthalate-free™ materials. Along with using them for maintenance tasks, they can safely be used to fill your boat’s water tank with potable drinking water. These hoses are available in 25’, 35’ 50’ and 75’ lengths. Other garden hose style models include the NeverKink Pro-Grade Water Hose.
Expandable Water Hoses
Expandable water hoses are designed to automatically retract and shrink to a fraction their expanded size for easy storage. Note: Not all expandable hoses are drinking water safe, so if that is a feature you are looking for, carefully read the product description to make sure it is.
Retractable Water Hoses
Helical-shaped retractable hoses are popular on offshore fishing boats where they are used (along with a washdown pump and a spray nozzle) for washing fish cleaning tables and decks. They feature a helical design that retracts for easy storage. Various models are offered as part of washdown kits which include a hose nozzle.
