 The WEST MARINE Single Contact Bayonet BA15S-1156 High Output LED Bulb uses cutting edge LED chips, drivers and construction offering the highest levels of performance, efficiency, and reliability. This results in dramatically reduced power consumption while having greater light output than the majority of bulbs of its size. It will produce bright flicker free light which will render true and vibrant colors, and reduce eyestrain compared to lower quality LED bulbs.

This bulb replaces and has similar brightness to 40 watt traditional bulbs using the Tall globe. Note some boat builders wired fixtures without regard to polarity, which wire was + positive and - negative, due to the fact standard filament bulbs are not polarity sensitive
