Since we have not evolved to the point where our bare feet grip wet surfaces like a gecko, we depend on a little help from the footwear industry. That's where our Slip-On Aqua Socks come in. Although they're not actually socks (you can't wear them inside other shoes), they do fit close to your feet like socks.
The uppers are made of mesh and neoprene. Mesh so water that gets in runs out, they're breathable and they dry really fast. Neoprene so they fit snuggly and they're comfortable without actual socks.
That's all well and good, but the real reason you need a pair of these on your feet whenever you're in, on or just around the water, is for their nonslip and protective properties. The textured rubber outsoles give you the extra grip you need to stay upright and out of the water, while protecting your soft skin from sharp and pointy things like rocks, glass, coral and zebra mussels.
And, just to make sure you stay on the good side of the captain on your boat, these Slip-On Aqua Socks are non-marking. Translation: no ugly black marks on the white gelcoat (what most boat decks are covered with). Imported.
