Flush saltwater, silt and other contaminates from Mercury outboards and MerCruiser sterndrives.
After running in saltwater or through silty water, it is good idea to flush the engine’s cooling system to remove debris and corrosive saltwater. These kits are designed to work with Mercury outboards and MerCruiser sterndrives to run freshwater through the cooling system at idle. An adjustable locking rod secures rubber cups to the side raw water intake openings which provide a garden hose connection for freshwater supply. Outboards and sterndrives with dual pick-ups require the Flush Seal Kit to block off front pickups and allow the Flush kit to supply cooling water without it running out of the additional ports.
