    This chain hook sounds like a good idea, but even though sized correctly, it did not go in far enough in the links of my HT chain. I feel that a smaller size would weaken the system. Back to tying knots...
    It might have worked in a regular chain, though, I don't really know.

      It's always good to have a chain hook on board. I often use to take the stress off the anchor chain and to hang the chain.
