Product Description

Combining performance that approaches that of a rigid-floored sportboat, with the lighter weight of an inflatable floor, these versatile boats are lighter, faster to plane, consume less power, and absorb waves and wakes more effectively than comparable rigid floor models. The weight capacity has almost doubled from prior models and is now the best in class. Their high-pressure roll-up floor features multiple cross layers of copolymer fabric, with thousands of drop stiches per inch, to deliver the rigidity to enable you to plane, yet still offer the easy setup and compact storage of an inflatable boat. Easy-care, German Heytex fabric, USA-made Halkey-Roberts valves, marine-grade plywood transom and a sturdy wooden bench seat round out the standard features of these boats. Includes aluminum oars, oarlocks, lifelines, towing rings, bow handle, inflation pump, carry bag and repair kit.

So Far So Good

By Ricardo

from Victoria, Canada

Pros

  • Compact
  • Fits Well In Bag Provided
  • Light Weight
  • Stows well
  • Tie On Point On Transom

Cons

  • Poor Bracket On Foot Pump

Best Uses

  • Protected Waters

Comments about 2013 HP 310 High Pressure Inflatable Floor Rollup Sportboat:

We chose this dinghy to be able to quickly and easily deflate it, roll it up and stow it under our boom: we have no davits and want to keep the foredeck clear for sailing with our cutter-rigged sloop. The dinghy is priced reasonably. For getting from anchorage to dock or beach it is fine. Even with small dinghy wheels added to the transom it deflates to a small enough size to easily fit in the large bag provided for storage.

  • Raise Bow Blocks Spray
  • Roomy Boat
  • Very stable ride

Cons

  • Fill Valves Leak
  • On Docks And Sea Walls
  • Tube Fabric Rips Easily

Best Uses

  • Great for short trips

Comments about 2013 HP 310 High Pressure Inflatable Floor Rollup Sportboat:

I use this boat as dingy for my cruiser. I also make short trips with friends to my favorite swimming spots and restaurants on the water.

The boat is 5 years old and the inflation valves installation seals are beginning to leak.
Also, the hull material is easily punctured by splinters on docks and wood pilings. It is also easily ripped by pointed metal fittings on docks and sea walls. I would recommend this boat to friends if the hull material was stronger

Comments about 2013 HP 310 High Pressure Inflatable Floor Rollup Sportboat:

I use it to take my kids exploring the Mystic River and lakes in the north suburban Boston area.
I bought it from West Marine in September of 2008, and she's still going strong.

GREAT product. I have a Torqeedo Travel for light trips when we go north. The 10 HP Merc is for speeding off steam- hits 20 mph on the lake. Kiddos think we have a speedboat. You cannot go wrong with this. It's like the Mrs. Treat her well and she'll stay with you and keep you happy. :)

Good until you have a tear

By Boater

from Falmouth, MA

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Very reliable

Cons

  • Impossible To Fix A Tear
  • Tear Repair Kit Useless

Best Uses

  • Anywhere you want

Comments about 2013 HP 310 High Pressure Inflatable Floor Rollup Sportboat:

This boat worked perfectly well and I was satisfied with it until:
It got a tear about 2 inches long due to contact with a metal part of the dock. I tried to repair it multiple times with the provided patch kit, it does stick well, but when I inflate the boat the air will still leak, finally I gave up and the boat sits unused.
