The AQUAGLIDE Chelan™ HB Two Inflatable High Pressure Tandem Kayak is the most versatile combo of single person kayak and more compact two person design from Aquaglide’s high performance line of inflatable touring kayaks. These give you hard shell kayak performance with inflatable kayak convenience and lightweight.

Aquaglides supremely rigid high pressure "HB" Hard-Bottom™ drop stitch floor give you a rock hard and stiff hull. This combined with 100% Aquaglides tough Duratex™ Heavy-Duty PVC Tarpaulin tube construction provides the highest durability and greatest ease of maintenance. The "HB" Hard-Bottom™ floor allow a self bailing design feature and Duratex™  material resist mold and mildew if packed away wet. The Aquaglide HB series construction combination creates one very stiff and responsive inflatable that’s so easy to inflate and use that you’ll wish you had one long ago. No metal frames to insert or put together, just inflate up to pressure and go! These perform so well, people tell us they think they are in a traditional hard shell kayak. 

The Chelan™ HB Two is a very versatile 1-2 person mid-sized inflatable at just under 14 feet in length. The adjustable seat positions allow you to set this kayak up in many configurations. Using it as a longer solo kayak gives you improved tracking and provides extra room to bring 1-2 children or your favorite pet. As a tandem there is plenty of room to easily accommodate two mid-size adult paddlers with a capacity of 400 pounds. This tandem has good maneuverability, weighing in at only 29 pounds.

All Chelan's have a long waterline, flat rocker and fine, piercing bow that provides great tracking and outstanding glide to cover long distances with ease. The high-performance US fin box system includes a unique oversized foiled fin making these kayaks track straighter than any inflatable you've tried.  Put it in the water and these kayaks will have you looking for adventure. For added comfort they designed the PRO-formance™ air cushion seats that allow inflatable seat height adjustment, mid to high backrest support that is soft covered with a cool, breathable and fast drying material. These super comfortable seats have an array of thoughtful features including, mesh storage pockets, integrated fishing-rod holders, fore and aft seat strap adjustments so you’ll enjoy your time on the water to its fullest.

You'll also appreciate the Splash-Guards™ positioned at the bow and stern of each deck to help keep paddler’s dry while providing easy stowage for dry bags or other gear. Sturdy molded handles are positioned for convenient launching and handling. Because nobody likes to fight with their gear, an oversized front-loading travel bag/backpack is included for easy storage and transport. This bag is large enough to easily fit the kayak without a struggle, and still able to be checked onto most airlines as standard sized luggage. To unleash the Chelan’s full potential we suggest using one of the 12V High Pressure pumps and/or a High Pressure Push pump to top it off at max pressure.
