General Usage Guidelines:

  1. Never exceed the safe working load of 3,000lbs per jack stand
  2. The EZ Jack Stand is designed for vertical loading – avoid loading at angles to avoid instability
  3. Use enough stands to ensure safe working load cannot be exceeded, and be sure to place them appropriately to avoid overloading any one stand
  4. Position the jacks so that the load is directly downward as much as possible; the stand is designed for vertical loading
  5. Always store the load and stands on solid, level ground. If ground is soft or unlevel, take care to place support under stands to ensure they cannot sink or shift under load
  6. Avoid placing body parts under the load or between load and stands during setup
  7. When ready to use your stands:
    1. Ensure load is level
    2. Place pairs of stands around the load, and adjust each stand until snug against the load
    3. Confirm that the load is still level on the stands and keel support
    4. Check all stands again, adjusting or tightening as necessary, until all are fully tightened
    5. Be careful not to overtighten, as this can cause the load to become unbalanced
