What's the hardest part about kayaking?

Exactly! Getting your kayak from the parking lot to the water!

Tired of trying to lug that giant, unwieldy, awkward, back-breaking piece of roto-molded polyethylene (AKA plastic) from your vehicle, across the parking lot, through the crowd of curious onlookers, over the grassy knoll, down the sidewalk, across the sand, through the marina, down the dock and up to the water's edge? Is your chiropractor on speed dial? Have we got a simple solution for you! Our Scupper Swift Sit-On-Top Kayak Dolly. And it works with any size sit-on-top kayak with scupper holes (those holes that go all the way through the hull so the water that makes its way on top of the kayak where you sit will drain down to where the fish can make use of it).

Easy As 1-2-3-Go!

1.) First, adjust the width of the dolly to fit your kayak. This is easily accomplished by turning the dolly upside down, loosening the lever on the axle pieces, sliding the frame together or apart so the uprights fit over the scupper holes on the TOP of your kayak and then tightening the lever.

2.) Next, gently lower your kayak over the uprights and insert them into the scupper holes on the BOTTOM of your kayak.

3.) Then, secure your kayak to the dolly with the included cinch strap taking care not to overtighten it. (If you're prone to tying things up so hurricane force winds won't dislodge them, ask your little sister or someone with the flu to tighten it for you.)

Go.) That's it! You're ready to enjoy a casual stroll down to the water with your kayak in tow. Once you get there, the dolly can be quickly and easily disassembled and placed in the hull so it will be with you for the return trip.

Quality Construction

Our Scupper Swift features flat-free, airless wheels that will roll across gravel, sand, grass, scorching pavement, splintery docks, broken glass, you name it and won't let you down. The frame, uprights and axles are made of tough, 25mm anodized aluminum for years of use around corrosive water environments. (Although it's good practice to rinse your dolly off after exposure to saltwater). The uprights are adjustable to fit varying kayak widths. Cinch strap included.

  • Axle: 25mm diameter
  • Width: 24"
  • Weight: 7lb. 8oz.
  • Uprights adjust for scupper holes 8 1/2" to 18" apart
