Made of 316L stainless steel, these flush mount rod holders feature a wide low profile cap for excellent mounting strength and to enhance the appearance of any boat. 100% welded cap to tube joint will never break. Super tough 1/4" wide x 1/2" tall gimbal bar will stand up to virtually any punishment heavy tackle or downrigger mounts can dish out.
White vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the gimbal bar to eliminate liner twist. Super tough rounded cast bottom including a 1/2" pipe threaded water drain, the largest drain in the industry. Other brands use only a 1/4" drain that clogs frequently. Rounded bottoms are a great safety feature for open gunnel boats where the bottom of the rod holder is exposed to be hit by tender shins.
Designed to be used over dry storage areas. Attach a 1/2" pipe threaded hose barb (not included) and route a 1/2" drain hose safely away from the dry area and into the bilge. White vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the gimbal bar to eliminate liner twist.
