Bait Binder 'Original' Chum Kit is a dry, pre-mix blend of menhaden (pogey) fish meal. When water is added and slowly stirred (like making biscuits), the mixture turns into a ‘dough’ that has remarkable durability when put into traps, chum bags, and even when placed into open waters with current. The product can be formed into any size or shape to work in any chumming application. Even small, flat patties placed in the water will sink quickly and hug the bottom without much movement. The strong smell of the resulting ‘dough’ dissolves very slowly and attracts all marine species, greatly increasing catch rates.
The ‘Original’ was originally designed to attract and hold shrimp in a specific location. Thus, making it easier for recreational fisherman to catch greater quantities.
