The Dometic Dip Tube-Universal Kit is a genuine marine toilet service and replacement part for holding tank systems. This component allows waste to be removed from the top of the tank rather than from the bottom discharge line, eliminating the risk of stagnant sewage accumulation and reducing the potential for hose failure. By drawing waste from the tank top, the kit prevents clogging and minimizes tank residual buildup that can occur when discharge lines remain partially filled.
The kit accommodates holding tanks up to 30 inches in depth and is adjustable for various tank configurations. Installation requires a 3-inch hole and includes a special sealing ring to ensure a proper seal. The assembly features 22 inches of 1.5-inch Schedule 40 PVC tubing with a flanged adapter that connects via 1.5-inch slip to female thread. The kit contains the dip tube, top fitting, sealing grommet, and pickup adapter.
