Depending on available space behind the dash, "The Rack™ Rear Mount Rack & Pinion Helm" might be the best choice.
For use in almost all stern drive, inboard and other power-assisted applications where No Feedback steering is not required. Four bolts and nuts secure the cable's (sold separately) rack housing to the helm. Helm requires current generation rack cables—will not bolt up to older style cables. Installation requires the 90° Bezel Kit, Model 147814 (sold separately) and may also require installation of one or more wedges which are available in the 20° Wedge Kit, Model 6553952. also sold separately.
